I have created 3 cards for our Cards for Kids Valentine's Day Blog Hop!

I created this Lots of Love Card using EK Success Daisy Scallop border punch and the Plantin SchoolBook Cricut Cartridge.  I used a 4.25"x5.5" pink card base, pink striped patterned paper, and a strip of dark pink paper.   I cut the hearts at 1.75", 1.25" and .75".  I embossed each one with a different texture, inked all my edges and used foam to pop up all the hearts.

My second card came about as I was playing experimenting with some different sized pink buttons.

I used a Martha Stewart corner punch to add some extra interest to the patterned paper.

This third card is by far my daughter's favorite!

For this Elmo Valentine I used the Cricut Cartridges Elmo's Party and Plantin Schoolbook (for the heart balloons).  I also used some twine and red Stickles and popped all my cuts up on foam for added dimension.

I have some blog candy to give away also.  I have a small collection of Valentine's Day themed items.  To be eligible for my prize, please leave me a comment here on my blog (you do not have to be a follower but I would appreciate if you were).  If you would like to increase your chances, make a card (as many as you would like) and link it up.  I will use random.org to choose a winner on Feb 10th.

Thank you for checking out my Cards for Kids Valentine's Day card! Please continue along to the next blog and check out all of the wonderful projects that our designers have created!

Wedding Cake Card

Sorry I've been MIA lately.  We have had lots of things going on with our family in May, but everything is better now and we have started our amazing 3 month summer vacation.  My ever-so-talented sister and I have been able to spend time and craft together this past week.  I made this card for our cousins wedding.

I used Wild Cards Cricut cartridge for the cake base card and envelope cut at 5 inches.  I also used Mother's Bouquet Cricut cartridge for the flowers cut at 1 inch and 3/4 inch.  I formed a pocket on the inside of the card for a money holder.

Challenges

On a personal note - we are having a great time at Disney World and I can't wait to start on a Disney Album.  Thanks for your sweet comments, they really inspire me to keep sharing my projects.

National Scrapbook Day Celebration

Since I was pre-occupied on May 7th, I have been participating in some of the challenges for National Scrapbook Day the last two evenings.  This has been so much fun.  I was able to complete 5 of the challenges for My Pink Stamper and 2 challenges for Frosted Designs.

I wanted to take a moment and share with you what I was celebrating -My Daughter's First Birthday!
Faith in her party dress!

Faith's Party at the Children's Park and Splash Pad.

Its hard to believe that a year has already past...and we are looking forward to all the fun in the next year!

Girl's Night Out Card

I made this card for My Pink Stamper National Scrapbook Day Challenge #9 and Frosted Designs Border Punch Challenge.

I used DCWV glimmer, glitter and textured paper to cut these shoes from the Cricut Cartridge Kate's ABC's at 2 1/2 inches.  The border punch is Fiskar's Moroccan Lace and the patterned paper is K&Company.  Hope you enjoy this Girl's Night Out Card.

Sisters, Pooh and Tigger Layout

I made this layout for My Pink Stamper National Scrapbook Day Challenge #12 and Frosted Designs Got Frame Challenge.

I cut the picture frame with the Cricut Cartridge Plantin Schoolbook at 6 inches.  I also use the same cartridge to cut the journaling tag at 2 1/2 inches.  I used the Disney Cricut Cartridge Pooh font to cut Pooh and Tigger at 3 inches and the title at 2 inches.  All the patterned paper is K & Company.
