I have come to the realization that I am a once a week blog poster. Ideally I would love to post more often, but things just keep coming up and I can't believe its Sunday again. I wanted to share this April Showers card I made. There's something about it that just doesn't feel "right", but after staring at it off and on all day, I can't figure out what it is...so without further ado...
I used another one of my new Cricut Cartridges A Child's Year for the umbrella tag. I cut the tag at 3 inches. I also use my Cricut Cartridge Disney's Pooh Font for the title cut at one inch (using the Marker Feature). I also used my E.K. Success Diamond Lace border punch, Cuttlebug Embossing folders Swiss Dots and Diamond Plate, and my white gel pen. The patterned paper is K & Co and the solid cardstock is out of my scrap pile.
This gorgeous patterned paper was the inspiration for this card. I have been holding on to it for awhile (because it is almost too pretty to use). I cut the inside sentiment from my Cricut Disney's Pooh Font Cartridge at 3/4 inch.
I hope this card brightens my friend's day. I will be entering this in the Fantabulous Cricut Challenge #54.

Pretty card--you're right the inside paper is gorgeous! But I'm glad you used it to create with us at FCCB!
This is so sweet! I do love that inside pattern paper! It's gorgeous! I would have had a hard time using it also!
Such a pretty card! It's hard to use those pretty papers sometimes, isn't it? Thanks for sharing with us at FCCB!
